Ayurvedic Counseling

  • Live in harmony with nature, the Ayurveda way

Align with the cycles of the day, the seasons, and your time of life for vitality and balance.

Ayurveda is an ancient, 5,000 year-old health system from India and means the science or wisdom of life: Ayur (life) and Veda (study or knowledge). It’s thought to be the oldest healing system in the world.

The knowledge contained in Ayurveda encompasses the nature, scope, and purpose of life. It’s the art of daily living.

Ayurveda says that health encompasses every aspect of your life, such as physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, environmental, financial, vocational, relationships, and so on.

Ayurveda is a sister science with yoga. The reason for practicing Ayurveda, such as through food and lifestyle, is to create the right conditions for your body and life to create yoga, the union of self with the divine.

“Ayurveda gives us the guidelines for how to live our lives in a state of peace and happiness, how to create joy in our personal as well as social lives, and how to create balance, both within and without.”

— Ashtanga Hridaya, ancient text

Ayurvedic Counseling and Wellness Guidance

Balance your body. Align with nature. Live in harmony with your unique constitution.

Ayurveda teaches that true wellbeing comes from living in alignment with your unique mind-body constitution (Prakriti) and the rhythms of nature. As a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, I offer Ayurvedic counseling to help you understand your body’s wisdom, make simple yet profound lifestyle shifts, and cultivate greater balance in your daily life.

What I offer

Through personalized 1:1 consultations, group workshops, and Ayurvedic education, I guide you in:

🌿 Understanding your dosha & constitution: Learn about your unique Prakriti and how to work with, rather than against, your natural tendencies.

🍽️ Ayurvedic nutrition & the six tastes: Discover how food is medicine by exploring the qualities of food, the six tastes, and their impact on your Dosha.

☀️ Daily rhythms & rituals: Align your lifestyle with the daily flow of energy (Dinacharya) to enhance digestion, sleep, and vitality.

🍂 Seasonal & life-cycle wellness: Adjust your habits, foods, and self-care practices based on seasonal changes and life transitions.

🌀 Mind-body connection: Explore the deep relationship between emotions and digestion, and how meditation, breathwork (Pranayama), and mindful living can support emotional well-being.

💆‍♀️ Simple Ayurvedic self-care & oil therapies: Learn time-tested techniques for nourishment, rejuvenation, and grounding.

🥣 Ayurvedic cooking & kitchen wisdom: Discover simple cooking tips to create meals that support your Dosha and digestion.

This is for you if…

✅ You are looking for seasonal and daily routine guidance to live in greater harmony with nature.

✅ You want to learn simple but powerful ways to bring Ayurvedic wisdom into your daily life.

My scope of practice

I offer education and guidance to support your well-being through Ayurveda. However, I do not diagnose or treat diseases, prescribe herbal medicines (though I can suggest supplements), or perform Panchakarma. My approach is about empowerment and prevention, helping you make informed choices that align with your body’s natural rhythms.

Work with me

Ayurveda is not just a system of health—it’s a way of life. Let’s work together to create a personalized approach to wellness that honors your unique constitution, lifestyle, and needs.

Easy Ayurveda

Easy Ayurveda

Incorporating Ayurveda into your life can be done with simple, small shifts. It doesn’t mean you have to cook like you’re in India or necessarily be vegetarian.

Ayurveda is as much about how and when something is eaten as it is about the food you eat. I’ll teach you easy, modern-day ways to adjust and balance your lifestyle that doesn’t mean massive, overwhelming shifts all at once.

  • Participating in the retreat and the community has been life changing for me. I feel like I was introduced to a primal layer of myself that I am eager to get to know more.

  • I had such a fantastic time at the retreat! I’ve been sleeping all night. I’m on the way to buy ghee and other Ayurvedic goodies. I’m enjoying the process and all that I’ve learned.
